History and Development of Jones Barlow Insurance Brokers

Neil Barlow is the Director responsible for Jones Barlow Insurance Brokers. He commenced his career in insurance in 1975 at Lloyd's of London and co-founded various businesses providing insurance services throughout a long career.

One such division of the group, Copperwheat Barlow, operated from the mid-1990s through to the end of March, 2023 when it was acquired by a third party. During that period it grew to be recognised as one of the leading farm and estate insurance broking houses in the south and east of England. On top of this, the practice had expanded its services to provide cover for various trades such as steel fabricators, consulting and design engineers, warehouses and packers, construction product management consultants, hauliers, contractors, construction companies and many other classes of commercial businesses.

It was decided to re-enter the market under the branding of Jones Barlow Insurance Brokers with the support of the insurance market. We access a very broad panel of insurers to obtain the most attractive terms with tailor made cover for our clients.
